A great week completed.

The end of another week.....It’s been a good one and the whole team have worked very hard. We have some great design projects for various clients and we are getting brilliant feedback. We are in the final stages of a wedding brochure for Basildon Park, this has been a fantastic project and they have been a pleasure to deal with, we’ll post the final designs on our site when we have sign off.
We are also working on various e-marketing campaigns one of which is for ECEX who’s Managing Director, Richard Betts, has given us a great testimonial, see it here http://tinyurl.com/68xtj2g, these guys have a super business which offers a wide range of building maintenance and consultation services, it really is a great model of business to help market and it makes it easier that they offer such a good service – learn more about them here - http://www.ecex.co.uk/ we have had some issues that the HTML email % of opens seems low for their database so we are now looking at options, with an unlimited budget we’d have a real joined up campaign but we are going to have to be inventive – I will raise a case study once we have decided the route. Also on the radar would be the launch of two or three new web sites in the next couple of weeks.....I will keep you posted so we can get some feedback when they go live.
As mentioned in my previous post we are looking to expand our team here in various departments, Customer Service and Account manager, Junior Designer / web developer and Machine Minder. Of the three positions the Web Developer is probably the most pressing as our print on demand solution http://tinyurl.com/5thc683 has proven to be very popular and we are working around the clock to get the systems live for of clients – don’t forget if you know anyone.....email me.
The Pre-press and Print departments have also had their work cut out for them – we are in the middle of producing 4 Classic Illustrated graphic novels, these 48 page books are of really high quality and you can watch why they use our service here http://www.youtube.com/user/MrApplePrint. And if you wish to purchase these items you can do so here http://www.classiccomicstore.com/ or in any good bookshop.  We have also created and provide their web solution.

1st post and start of the year.

Hey People (possibly no-one),

This will be where I try to keep a record of the growth of my company Apple Print Ltd, it would be great to have tips, advice and ideas’ if what you read here is something you have experience in. Here at Apple Print we have embraced social media, traditional advertising and marketing along with an online presence and hope to use all of the available technologies to improve the buzz about us and what we do.

We are looking to expand both our design and web teams and increase our market share of digital printing both large and small formats. We have seen modest growth in the last 12 months of 10% and wish to continue with this and add to it.

We would like everyone that knows us to experience and enjoy our journey, the ups and the possible downs. The start of 2011 has seen us looking to expand our team of designers and Customer Service - I will keep you posted on how that goes - you can read a little about our new team here http://www.appleprint.co.uk/index.php?/news/new_design_team_at_apple_print2/ and if you know anyone with design and web skills then get them to email me andrew@appleprint.co.uk.

We have had a great start to this year sales wise and hope that continues but we are also looking to expand on our quality standard which we call "Project Good Apple" so once again any feedback would be welcome, top tips, service improvements and advice welcome. Read about that project here http://www.appleprint.co.uk/index.php?/news/project_good_apple/.

Well that is it for a start.....I will do this a minimum of once a week and please send any blogging tips.
